| There are many opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's school. The following are just a few suggestions if you want to get involved and to learn more about Thomas A. Edison Elementary School:PTA - Parents are needed to help with PTA activities throughout the year. Watch for meeting dates and PTA notes.School Site Council - Parents are needed to help make important decisions about student programs, curriculum, and the budget. Meetings are held in the School Library.Gifted Parent Committee - Parents of identified students are needed to serve on a District Advisory Committee. Call the school for information.Volunteers at School or Home - Call the school office if you want to help a teacher or the Librarian. Lots of opportunities are available. |
