Our PTSA is made up of students, parents, administrations and teachers who work together for the betterment of Burbank High School. Our meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month with no meetings in December. The meetings start at 7:00 p.m. in the BHS library. Our principal, Mrs. DeRoos, attends and always gives an informative update of what is going on at BHS. There is always time to ask questions or bring concerns to her. We have a student representative, Melineh Terzian, who always attends and can answer questions. Everyone is welcome to attend.

We invite all students and parents to support our activities by joining our PTSA. The cost of membership is $5.00 per person or $12.00 for a family membership. You may send in your membership to school in care of the PTSA. We give six $500.00 scholarships to seniors each year who are planning to attend college. If a student wishes to apply for our scholarships, they must be a member of our PTSA.

Some of our activities include sponsoring a pre-SAT test, teacher's brunch, yearbook signing party, Senior Awards Night, Baccalaureate, Red Ribbon Week, Student of the Month, the Senior picnic, help during registration week, working the refreshment stands at the football games (our sole fundraiser), college and career fair, working closely with ASB and teacher appreciation. On the district and state levels our PTSA is involved in legislative action working as an advocacy for students and enhancing educational and instructional programs.
