OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The Joaquin Miller Elementary School staff, in partnership with parents, families, students, and community, is committed to using all available resources to create, provide, and support a healthy, safe, and orderly learning environment and a rich, meaning-centered instructional program through which all students will develop the academic and social skills necessary to become responsible, productive citizens in our changing society.

We welcome all parents, students, and community members to Joaquin Miller Elementary School. We are proud to be a 1997 California Distinguished School, the highest honor an elementary school can achieve in the state of California. Our goal, as stated above, is for all students to succeed and we are committed to providing the quality curriculum and instruction needed to achieve our goal for students.
